At this price the frame is metal or pine rather than solid oak, the finish is powder coat or paint rather than veneer, and storage is not included. An ottoman base with gas pistons starts a long way above £350. If storage matters more than price, start with the ottoman beds instead.

Is there a delivery charge on top?
No. Delivery to the UK mainland is included in every price on this page, in 3 to 5 working days. A £299 frame costs £299 at your door.
Do I need to buy a bed base as well?
No. Every frame here has its own base built in, sprung slats on the wooden frames and slats or a steel mesh on the metal ones. The mattress goes straight onto it. We do not sell mattresses.
Will a cheap frame take a heavy mattress?
A king size pocket sprung mattress weighs 30 to 45 kg and every frame here is made to carry a mattress of that size. Where a maker publishes a weight limit for a frame we print it on the product page; where the maker publishes nothing, we say so rather than invent a figure.
What is the cheapest king size bed frame you sell?

Why is there nothing under £299?
Because we sell frames delivered rather than collected, and at the sizes and weights involved the delivery is a real cost. A frame advertised at £150 elsewhere usually has a delivery charge, a smaller mattress size, or no base included. We would rather show one price.
