Super King Ottoman Beds
A super king ottoman bed lifts a 180 x 200 cm mattress on gas struts and gives you the whole base as storage. Every frame here lists its outside size and headboard height from the maker's specification, and where the maker publishes the strut rating, the product page gives it. A super king frame is wider than its mattress, so for a 75 cm walkway on both sides allow a wall of about 3.5 m, and leave clear floor at the foot for the base to lift. Smaller room? The number that decides a super king
These frames measure 194 to 196.8 cm wide on the outside and 215.7 to 221 cm long. For a walkway on both sides at 75 cm each you need a room about 347 cm wide; with the bed against a wall and one 60 cm walkway, about 257 cm. Those are the numbers that decide whether a super king works, not the mattress size.
Then there is the opening. An ottoman needs clear floor at the foot, or along one side if it is a side lift, for the base to swing up. Measure that before you order rather than after.

A European super king fits
A UK super king and a European super king are both 180 x 200 cm, so an EU mattress fits these frames. That is not true one size down: the UK king is 150 cm wide and the European king is 160 cm.

How much storage is there under a super king ottoman?
The whole 180 x 200 cm base, which is 30 cm wider than a king. Neither maker publishes the depth under the base, so we do not convert it into litres: in practice it takes duvets, pillows, spare bedding and suitcases.
Will a super king ottoman fit a 3 m wide room?
Against a wall, yes: 196.8 cm of frame leaves about 103 cm of walkway on the open side. For a walkway on both sides you want nearer 347 cm.
Does a European 180 x 200 mattress fit?
Yes. UK and European super king are the same 180 x 200 cm, unlike the king size where the UK is 150 cm wide and Europe is 160 cm.
