3 white wooden bed frames, from £189 for a single and £309 for a king size. The Monaco is pine and is made in both a low and a high foot end; the Chester is hevea, white with an oak top on the headboard and foot end.
Every frame is sold frame only, with its slatted base included, and the size on each card is the outside size of the frame rather than the mattress it holds. Delivery is free to the UK mainland in 3 to 5 working days.

The frame is wider and longer than the mattress it holds. These are our measured outside sizes, which is what has to fit the room and get through the door.

Colour check
White wood is painted wood, and paint marks
A white frame keeps a small room looking open, which is the usual reason people choose one. The trade-off is that a painted surface shows scuffs where a dark stain hides them, and the corners of the foot end take the worst of it. A damp cloth handles marks; anything abrasive takes the paint off with them.
Two of these three are plain white. The Chester is white with an oak top on the headboard and foot end, so it is not a single flat colour. If you are matching existing white furniture, look at the photographs on each product page in daylight rather than relying on the word white.

Is the white frame solid wood?
The Monaco is pine. The Chester is hevea with an oak finish on the top rails. Both are wood rather than a wrapped board, and both come flat-packed with the slats included.
Which sizes come in white?
The Monaco with the low foot end is made in single, small double, double and king size in white. The high foot end version is white in single, small double and double, but not in king size. The Chester is king size only.
Will a white wooden frame yellow over time?
Painted white timber can shift slightly in strong, direct sunlight over several years, as any white paint does. Nothing we sell carries a maker's claim about this, so we do not make one either. Keeping the bed out of long direct sun is the only sensible precaution.
Do I need a base as well?
No. Every frame here has its own slatted base included, so you put the mattress straight onto it. We do not sell mattresses.
