Colour check
Grey is not one colour
The greys here run from a light silver hopsack through mid grey fabric to a dark charcoal. On a photograph taken under a warm bulb they look closer together than they are. If you are matching an existing headboard or curtains, look at the pictures on each product page in daylight, and read the colour name: light grey, grey, dark grey and charcoal are four different things.
Headboard heights across these frames run from 84 to 122 cm from the floor, which changes the look far more than the shade does.

Will the grey fade?
Any dyed fabric in strong direct sunlight will shift over years, and grey shows it more than a pattern would. None of these makers publishes a lightfastness rating, so we do not claim one. Keeping the bed out of long direct sun is the sensible precaution.
Do grey fabric beds show dust?
Less than black, more than natural. A soft brush attachment on the vacuum once a month is enough on any of these. No abrasive cleaners on any upholstered frame.
Which grey goes with oak furniture?
The warmer mid greys rather than the blue-leaning charcoals. That is taste, not measurement, so we will not pretend there is a right answer: the product photographs are the honest guide.
