Description
The Hammersmith is an end lift ottoman bed in grey fabric, in double or king size, with a buttoned, panelled headboard 100 cm from the floor. The base lifts from the foot on gas struts onto storage under the whole bed, around a steel frame. Delivery is free to the UK, usually in 1 working day.

How much weight will the lift take?
The maker links to test certificate 748283, dated 7 March 2019. It records a 300 kg working load limit for one tested Base Design D 46 bed measuring 194 x 140 cm. This is not a maximum mattress weight; the certificate does not specify a king-size test result.
Does it meet UK fire regulations?
The maker states that the frame meets UK fire regulations for domestic furniture. It is not certified to CRIB 5, the standard asked for in some rented and contract settings.
