Drawers or an ottoman: it depends on the floor around the bed
A drawer needs clear floor beside the bed to pull out, usually around 45 cm, and 4 drawers need both long sides free. An ottoman opens upwards from the foot, or along one side on a side lift, so it suits a small double pushed against a wall in a narrow room.
