Description
The Ladbroke is a 5ft king size bed frame in matte black metal, 160 cm wide and 209 cm long outside, with a curved headboard 110 cm high and a lower footboard to match. Two thin wires cross in three soft waves across each end and the posts curve out at the top, so the bed looks light in the room, while 24 wooden slats and a centre support leg carry a standard UK king size mattress, 150 x 200 cm.
What you get
- Matte black metal frame with curved posts
- Wave pattern headboard, 110 cm high, and a lower matching footboard
- 24 wooden slats with a centre support leg, no box spring needed
- King size only: takes a 150 x 200 cm mattress up to 25 cm deep
- Arrives flat packed in one box
- Mattress not included. This is a frame; keep the one you have or buy it separately.
Sizes and outside dimensions
The outside size of the assembled frame, from the maker's assembly instructions. Some shops list the king as 154 x 199 cm, which would be shorter than a 200 cm mattress, so plan your room with 160 x 209 cm.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| King (5ft) | 150 x 200 cm | 160 x 209 cm | 110 cm | 24 to 28 kg (sources differ) |

Questions about the Ladbroke
Will a standard UK king size mattress fit?
Yes. The Ladbroke takes a 150 x 200 cm UK king mattress, up to 25 cm deep according to the maker's assembly instructions. The frame itself is 160 x 209 cm outside, so measure the room against that figure.
How much weight does it take?
The maker's assembly instructions give 110 kg per sleeper, with a mattress of up to 50 kg.
What is the base made of?
24 wooden slats sit on the metal frame, with a centre support leg under the middle. You put the mattress straight on the slats: no box spring or divan base is needed.
Does it come assembled?
No. The Ladbroke arrives flat packed in one box. The maker allows about 2.5 hours for two people, and the tools are in the box.
How is it delivered?
Free to UK mainland addresses, usually within 3 to 7 working days, flat packed to your door.
